However, this pandemic has also taught us something valuable and that is we cannot be defeated. Despite the severity of the situation, it has brought people together and helped us to look past our differences and collectively respond to the challenges we face.
Covid-19 pandemic has shown us that we are resourceful and are resilient race especially in the field of education. This pandemic became a catalyst for educational institutions all across the world to search for innovative solutions in education within a short span of time. However, this is also a moment for us to reflect and re-examine our educational system. Educational institutions across the world are now shifting to digital tools to create content for online education. This has opened up new possibilities to do things differently and with greater flexibility resulting in potential benefits in accessibility to education for students.
Our institution too has adopted new measures to face this situation. Faculty of our institution underwent rigorous online trainings during the lock down period and have gained expertise in managing learning management systems, using custom developed platforms and standalone applications. They have also developed E-content which has proven to be a viable substitute for the face-to-face experience.
Today is a brave new world and there is a brand new educational landscape lurking in the horizon that will soon unfold.
