Professional Summary

Dr. Vandana Aravindan has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics since 2006. She took charge as the Head of the department in 2012. She is handling courses on Econometrics, Micro & Macro Economic Theory, Business Economics and Development Issues of Indian Economy. She was awarded Ph.D in 2019 from Mahatma Gandhi University and her research areas include ‘Issues of sustainable development including sustainable livelihoods’. She has been the Principal Investigator of UGC funded project. She has exhibited her organisational capabilities as the coordinator of various college level activities.
