Maria Jissmol

Maria Jissmol is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of B.Voc Software Quality Assurance and Quality Control at St. Xavier’s College for Women (Autonomous), Aluva.

Before joining St. Xavier’s College, she gained valuable experience in the industry. She worked as a Software Quality Analyst at Convensys Technologies in Infopark, Cochin, where she specialized in testing web-based applications. Prior to that, she worked as a Software Quality Analyst at Net Bios Technologies Pvt. Ltd in Cochin, focusing on testing Windows applications. She worked on two notable projects: REMEDI-Hospital Management System (HMS) and ENTERPRO – Manufacturing ERP solution.

In addition to her industry experience, she also has a background in teaching. She spent time as a teacher at St. Kuriakose Public School in Kottayam, and St. Xavier’s VHSS in Kuruppanthara, where she had the opportunity to share her knowledge and passion for computer applications.

She holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from the University of Calicut. She has completed a Certification Program in Software Testing, specifically the Software Testing course certificate from STC Technologies. Additionally, she has a Certificate in .NET Technologies from APTECH.
