Our nation is rich with diverse linguistic, cultural, and religious variations. To cater to this diversity and to nourish and cherish our nationhood for the future, the central government proposed a culture exchange initiative termed EBSB- Ek Bharath Shreshta Bharath. The main objective behind this initiative is to build up strong bonding between states of India. It hopes to celebrate cultural diversity with the help of EBSB club activities. This initiative targets the
College/University students across the country.
As per the directions from Central Government, our state Kerala in paired with Himachal Pradesh. The EBSB club of our college actively undertook the activities that celebrated the culture of Himachal Pradesh. Since its inception from 13th January 2020, St. Xavier’s College, Aluva is planning and executing activities every month even during the lockdown period. St. Bede’s College Shimla is the paired institution of our college. 150 active EBSB club members encouraged the whole college to take part in EBSB activities during the 2019-20 academic year. Despite the lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, EBSB thrives via the online activities that are continuing with the strong support of 60 EBSB members in the 2020-21 academic year.
